Reflected 3 seat Sophia Hann on her selection, “This is a special opportunity that many rowers dream of, but do not often get the chance to do. I am, therefore, incredibly grateful be able to race down the Championship Course with the Blue Boat on April 13th! While it is the crew’s mission to continue CUBC’s winning streak, with the rarity of the opportunity, our primary focus for the next two weeks is to continue enjoying the process, staying humble, uplifting each other, and having fun. Go Lions!”

On his selection, 7 seat Theo Hatcher reflected, “It means so much to be selected for the Lightweight Men’s Blue Boat. It feels like the culmination of the years worth of work, especially from being told I wouldn’t be able to compete in sport again. However, the focus now changes to race day and putting our best performance down.”
