TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — In an exciting day for U.S. Rowing, Team USA took home a historic gold in the men's four early Thursday morning, winning their first gold medal since the 1960s Games in Rome.

The quad of Team USA— Michael Grady, Liam Corrigan, Justin Best, and Nick Mead— overtook New Zealand (silver) and Great Britain (bronze) in a nail-biting competition.

What's next for Ledecky?

—She is expected to compete in the final of the 4x200 freestyle relay on Thursday. The U.S. took silver in that event at the Tokyo Games after winning gold in the two previous Olympics, so that seems like a pretty sure bet for lucky medal No. 13.

—Ledecky will be going for her fourth straight gold medal in the 800 freestyle, with the preliminaries set for Friday morning and the final to follow Saturday next evening.

“I have the relay tomorrow, that’s my next focus," she said after the race. “Then, I’ll think about the 800.”

The American star now has eight gold medals in her career, seven of them coming in individual races. She came into these games already holding the record for the most individual golds by a female swimmer.

“The Redemption Tour” ended in a familiar spot for Simone Biles: atop the Olympic podium. The American gymnastics star and her singular brilliance powered a dominant U.S. women’s team in the finals inside a raucous Bercy Arena.

With Biles at her show-stopping best, the Americans’ total of 171.296 was well clear of Italy and Brazil and the exclamation point of a yearlong run in which Biles has cemented her legacy as the greatest ever in her sport and among the best in the history of the Olympics.

To wrap up the segment, Brooke will talk about her "Mount Rushmore," her pick of the top four female Olympians of all time.
