Remembering Bev Hoskins, Dedicated Rowing Supporter
With heavy hearts, we share the news that a dear friend and long-time supporter of the Edmonton Rowing Club, Bev Hoskins, passed away on May 4.
Bev was the mother of two ERC Olympians, Andrew Hoskins and Zoe Hoskins-Light. Bev came from a family with a long tradition of rowing in New Zealand. She was a tireless volunteer at the ERC, giving generously and enthusiastically of her time and energy to help the club in so many ways. We will always remember her amazing coordination of the Medal Ceremonies at the World Masters Games in 2005, with the Mounties in red serge becoming the favourite photo op of the entire event.
Our very own Kiwilady may have left us, but her memory will live in our hearts forever.
