2024 San Diego Crew Classic Updates: Saturday, April 6
Saturday kicked off with clear skies and minimal wind for junior and collegiate heats. The usual suspects of Cal, Texas, and Stanford shined with two finishes in heats, heading into Sunday’s finals.
The afternoon brought club masters competition and para racing.
Marin Rowing Association and Newport Aquatic Center took the main stage in the youth events to close out Saturday’s racing.
As the sun set on the eve of the final day, boats were put on lowboys and strapped for Sunday racing bright and early.
