Oxford Challenge Cambridge to Boat Race

This evening, CUBC President Freddie Davidson formally accepted the challenge  from Oxford University Boat Club’s President, Augustin Wambersie, to an eight oared race next Spring. 

Cambridge have won the Men’s Boat Race and the Men’s Reserve Boat Race for the last 2 years and Freddie Davidson has been in both.  

The 2020 Boat Races will take place on Sunday 29th March, with the Men’s Boat Race starting at 16:44 GMT.

Cambridge will come up against Oxford this Saturday, 23 November when both Clubs take part in the Head of the River Fours event which takes place on the Championship Course, but in reverse – racing from Mortlake to Putney.
