CUBC take on Head of the Charles

Cambridge University Boat Club has sent two eights to Boston, USA to race Championship Eights at the Head of the Charles Regatta this Sunday (20th October).

The two line-ups give a first glimpse of this year’s Squad which is preparing to defend its double back-to-back Boat Race wins on 29 March next year. The Squad features an encouraging mix of returners, new students, and rowers who have learned the sport with their College Boat Clubs at the University of Cambridge.

The crews are accompanied in Boston by CUBC’s Chief Coach Rob Baker and Assistant Coach Jordan Stanley.

They will race at 14:15 (local time) on Sunday, and full information can be seen here.

Upon their return from the USA, CUBC will begin preparations for the Head of the River Fours which takes place on Saturday 23 November.
