Richard Chambers accepts Senior Coaching Role at leading High Performance Club

Cambridge University Boat Club congratulates its Assistant Coach, Richard Chambers, who has accepted a Senior Coach position at a leading High Performance Club.

Since arriving in Cambridge in 2016, Richard has been an integral part of the Coaching Team, working with Chief Coaches Steve Trapmore and Rob Baker on two winning Blue Boats and the back to back Goldie wins of 2018 & 2019.

Chief Coach Rob Baker said, “It has been a pleasure to work with Rich and to be a part of his development as a coach. His potential has always been apparent, and Richard’s new position is a great opportunity for him.”

CUBC congratulates Richard on his huge success as a coach at Cambridge, and wishes him every success for the future.
