Additional para-athletes confirmed for World Rowing Championships

Rowing Australia today confirmed that Jed Altschwager, William Smith and Nikki Ayres have been added to the Australian Para-rowing Team for the 2019 World Rowing Championships.

Altschwager (Torrens RC/SA/SASI) and Smith (Adelaide University BC/SA/SASI) will compete in the PR3 Men’s Pair, while Ayres (Capital Lakes RC/ACT/ACTAS) will act as a PR3 Reserve for the PR3 Mixed Coxed Four.

These three athletes are in addition to the already confirmed crews of Erik Horrie (PR1 M1x), Kathryn Ross (PR2 W1x) and the PR3 Mixed Coxed Four of Ben Gibson, James Talbot, Alexandra Viney, Alex Vuillermin and Renae Domaschenz.
