The Hens Sweep Knetch Cup

The full force of Delaware Crew took to the Cooper River this past weekend to compete in the Knecht Cup. The weather and water were fair, good racing conditions for the Hens. The competition was stiff, the Hens facing off against University of Michigan and Colgate University.

But the opposition was no match for the Hens who quickly sped down the course. In every 8+ category the Hens saw success. In the 1V the Hens beat Colgate to secure a first place win. In the Club 8+ the Hens won 1st place. In the JV8+ The Hens took both first and second place.

The Hens swept the 8+ categories, the strong racing and impressive results won the Cup, bringing it home to the trophy case.

Both the Lightweight and Heavyweight teams continue to train as they prepare for their next race.The Heavyweights make a 600 mile trek to Tennessee this weekend to compete in the SIRA while the Lightweights will drive north to Boston where they will race against Harvard and Navy.
