CUBC Races at Head of Shanghai River Regatta

CUBC were recently invited by the organisers of the Head of Shanghai River Regatta to race in both Head and Sprint Races against crews including the GB and Australian national teams and Oxford Brookes.

The weekend saw great racing by our men’s and women’s crews. The men took third in both the 4.2k Chase and the 500-meter sprint, just behind the GB and Australian national teams. The women clenched bronze in the 500-meter sprint behind GB and Australia, but came fourth in the 4.2km race after their rudder wire snapped.
