In the months since the allegations against Vikes Women’s Rowing Head Coach Barney Williams were brought to light, the Vikes administration has focused on supporting student-athletes, with less emphasis placed on preventing abusive coaching. Though Director of Athletics and Recreation Clint Hamilton says that the Vikes will provide education opportunities for coaches, he did not answer specific questions about oversight and prevention of bullying.
