Week 15 LUMC Newsletter
Hello everyone from your new Exec!
Last Friday we had our Post-Christmas meal at the White Cross, followed by hustings.
We are pleased to announce the new Exec is as follows:

This week:
Tuesday: 19:00 - Pancake Day social. Tuesday is the first social for the new Exec! Come along to Cartmel House 55 and show your support! We'll be making the pancakes fresh, so be prepared to flip your own! Some toppings will be provided, but if there's something special you'd like you might want to bring it with you :)
Wednesday: 13:00-14:00 - Lunchtime meeting in County Bar. Come along to pay for the Winter Skills trip and to return any borrowed gear.
If you still need someone to sign you in to the climbing wall, then make sure you come to County Bar to arrange an Exec member to sign you in.
Let us know if you need to borrow any gear before 14:00.
14:00 We'll head down to the wall together from County Bar for some climbing!
This weekend! (12th-14th February:): WINTER SKILLS TRIP! We'll be heading to the Cairngorms to learn essential safety skills for being in the mountains in the snow. Contact Dan Dry for more details :)
(Due to the winter skills trip, lead training won't be taking place this Friday)
Next week:
Monday: 19:00 - Chilled bouldering: Whether you've never been bouldering before or whether you've been bouldering for years but just aren't crazily competitive, come along to this relaxed session and help each other give some of the bouldering problems a go :)
In the not too distant future:
26th-28th February: Peak District Trip - We are organising a weekend away to the Peak District. We'll be having two full days of outdoor climbing. More details and sign up to follow!
