Newsletter Week 10

We hope you all enjoyed the Christmas meal last week. It was great to see so many of you there.

Wednesday: We will be meeting at 1pm in County Bar for lunch and a chat. Please return any club gear you may have. We will then be heading down to the wall for 2pm.

Winter Skills Trip: We will be running our annual winter skills trip to the Cairngorms in Scotland from the 9th - 13th January. The trip will cost roughly £180, which will include return transport, accommodation in a hut, all the mountaineering equipment you will need, and winter skills tuition from a qualified winter leader. If you are interested in this please let a member of the exec know asap. There will be a trip sign up going live tomorrow which requires a £50 deposit to secure your place.

Hustings: Wednesday 25th January (Week 12). Time & location to be confirmed. We will be having our exec changeover after Christmas; if you are interested in running for a position, start thinking about what you might want to say, and how you would run the club. Don't worry, speeches only need to be 2 minutes! You are more than welcome to message a current exec member to find out more. Even if you aren't running for a position, please come along to support your friends and the club.
