Shape the future of the UIAA Youth Commission
Dear UIAA Members,
The UIAA is in the process of relaunching its UIAA Youth Commission to strengthen and better connect youth activities across its member federations.
New Leadership

President: Michael Nagel (Deutscher Alpenverein, DAV) – formerly longstanding member of the German Federal Youth Board. Michael is strongly committed to growing a diverse global youth network and fostering youth exchanges between federations.

Vice-President: Jane Carney (Mountaineering Ireland) – Training Officer since 2013, teacher in Outdoor Education & Science and instructor of mountaineering & climbing. Jane is a strong advocate for youth development and international collaboration.

We invite you to nominate one (or more) delegate(s) to join the Internal Commission – the core team that will coordinate and oversee the Youth Commission’s activities throughout the year. How the Youth Commission will work
We are structuring the commission in two complementary layers:

an Internal Commission (active group of involved volunteers contributing year-round), and
-
a plenary (annual or biannual) bringing together youth responsible persons from member federations for exchange, coordination, and shared projects.
