What’s the Best Weekend Whipper of the Year? Vote By December 31.
Readers, please send us your Weekend Whipper videos using this form.
In 2025, we published 31 Weekend Whippers sent by climbers across the world, from the coasts of Iceland to the mountains of Peru. Many of this year’s dizzying falls were captured in first-person POV. A surprising number of them involved exploding gear or collapsing ice, reminding us all that when you’re climbing outside, no matter your experience, anything can happen.
Now, after nearly 12 months of trips, flips, and self-unclipping draws, it’s time to decide on the Best Weekend Whipper of the year. We’ve narrowed it down to our Top 10, but we need your help to decide #1.
Check out the Top 10 whippers above, then vote for your top pick by December 31. The winner will be announced on January 6, 2026.
