BMC Youth Meet 2026

This is a weekend meet for all young climbers aged between 12 and 17 (ie under 18).
Any application must have belayed and lead a climb at a climbing and/or outdoors.
There is supervision from adults looking at a one to one or one to two ratio climbing
on crags accessible from Langdale. This is based at Rawhead and will give, for
many, their first taste of staying in a climbing hut as well as meeting up with other
young climbers and the adults helping.
Numbers are restricted to a maximum of 12 young climbers. This is not on a first
come, first served basis but around the young climbers with the personal
circumstances and age.
There is a communal meal on the Saturday night and there is a small charge for the
weekend to cover the meal and towards the accommodation.
