Borrowdale Meet report 14th -16th June

Attendees: Bob Ashton, Maggie Bass, Peter and Liz Carter, Alistair Kirkby, Jessica, Susan Marvell, Vic Odell and myself.

Given the weather forecast I was surprised that there were as many as nine people present.  Those who arrived early on Friday enjoyed a pleasant evening on Sheperd’s Crag, including ascents of Bludgeon and Fisher’s Folly.  It then rained heavily overnight before drying sufficiently to allow for an ascents of KransicCrack Direct and CDM before rain stopped play.  Some limited sunshine on Sunday allowed more climbing on a fairly damp Sheperd’s before we called it a day.  The phrase ‘poor weather and good company’ best sums up the weekend.  Many thanks to the attendees.
