Weekend Whipper: “Oh My God… *high pitched* AGHHH!”

This past weekend, Tim Bemrich was working Eternal Stoke (5.12b) in Smith Rock. He gave the line four burns, falling repeatedly on the route’s upper slab, which is admittedly runout.
“It’s just a barn door move, but something about recognizing your fate while you slowly open ‘like a barn door’ is absolutely wild!” wrote Bemrich.
Being fairly high above the bolt, Bemrich couldn’t help but let out a loud (high pitched) shriek. Luckily the fall was clean. In all fairness, Tim, I would have screamed just as loudly. Nicely done!
Happy Friday, and be safe out there this weekend.
