Pembroke Meet

First of all I would like to thank all of you that attended the meet for your support throughout the week in particular the first couple of days.

The weather was the best we have had on the Pembroke meet for at least the last six years and combined with the company it made for me the best ever Pembroke meet I’ve been on.
The teams climbed on all the usual crags from Mother Scary’s to St David’s with a range of grades from Diff to E4 and the trophy for most routes done must go to Ray, Mark or Eve phenomenal effort by all three considering the conditions.
There were also days out on mountain bikes, cafes, pubs and of course lots of swimming in some fantastic coves
A special thanks to David and Mark for helping me cook the dead animals on the small barbecues and Debbie for all shopping and food preparation.
This was going to be my last Pembroke meet as leader but due to some really nice personal emails I’m doing it again next year.
I can only apologise for not having any action shots to share with you, too busy climbing.
