In this episode of my Mountain Days Vlog I get to go ski touring from my home in Llanfairfechan on the coast in Snowdonia, North Wales. It is a rare and exciting treat to be able to put ski boots on in your own kitchen when you live in the UK and even more of a treat if you can get a bit of up-lift to the summits too! As well as enjoying the skiing I film Gareth Wyn Jones, the local hill farmer, following on from a piece that we filmed for BBC Countryfile in the spring (that has made the Countryfile highlights of 2020). We hunt out the Carneddau ponies and get some lovely shots of them in the winter wilderness. I hope you enjoy it.
