Hello from new member :)

Hi everyone,

I've just moved to York and am looking forward to joining the community of climbers and mountaineers in the YMC. I've been rock-climbing, backpacking and mountaineering for the last three years as part of the University of Bristol Expeditions Society (UBES) and was lucky enough, through this club, to recieve ML, RCI and Conville Alpine training and even go on a trailblazing expedition to Georgia (in Eastern Europe). I trekked across European mountain ranges in the summers and during the academic year I like to sneak in weekends or a week here and there in the mountains/hills of Snowdonia, the Lakes, Scotland, etc. as well as doing some climbing indoors and outdoors. I can't wait to discover the beautiful countryside and amazing climbing around here.

I'm looking for a partner(s) to go climbing at the Red Goat on Tuesdays/Thursdays and would love to join in other outings climbing or walking.

I'll keep an eye on the forum, ask to join the Whatsapp group and turn up at the Red Goat so hopefully will meet some of you soon.
