Fine Mexican Boyfriend
Tough as nails… Lisa Hathaway finds a Fine Mexican Boyfriend (5.11d) above a snow-covered Mill Creek, near Moab, Utah, belayed by Monique Forestier in, as you might imagine, freezing conditions. But we got the shot!
This is from my first ever trip to the USA, in 2000, when I scored a big assignment from the awesome Rock and Ice magazine to shoot a big feature “American Climbing Through the Eyes of a Foreign Photographer” for their Photo Annual. You don’t get assignments like that anymore! It was an important one for me, a big break, which kicked off my overseas photography.
