Siblings of the Sun
I took this image in 1991, several years before I started shooting professionally, and, if I remember correctly, it was my first cover of Rock Magazine.
Climbers are Tony Barten with Andrew Bull belaying, on pitch seven (crux) of Siblings of the Sun (26) at Bungonia Gorge, NSW. Pitches are 21, 21, 23, 22, 21, 24, 26 and 16.
Siblings was what, the first hard modern multi-pitch to breach this part of the South Wall of the gorge? It seemed pretty significant at the time. Shot on Fuji Velvia film.
