In this video, 5.15c climber Stefano Ghisolfi provides a fairly compelling case that an ordinary table is the ultimate climbing training tool. Ghisolfi demonstrates how to use it (to get swole, not for normal table stuff like eating dinner) and shares a sample workout. Tables may not be cheaper than hangboards in most cases, but they are more versatile (you can play boardgames on them), and there’s a good chance you already have one in your home.
