Remembrance Sunday, 8th November 2020

On Remembrance Sunday the Fell and Rock normally hold an Act of Remembrance at their memorial on Great Gable. This is one of the 12 Lakeland summits purchased by the Club and given to the National Trust in memory of its 20 members who died in WW1.

Many members of the public join us, resulting in a large gathering.

This year, due to Covid 19, we have taken the difficult decision to cancel this event. We hope that you will support us in this decision by not gathering on the top of Great Gable for an Act of Remembrance.
