I have been joined by Anne, Emma and Nigel today for our two day mountain skills course here in Snowdonia. We kicked the day off with a look at weather forecasting and route planning before heading out for a mountain day on the less explored flanks of Snowdon. Over the course of the day we introduced the basic skills of navigation and established a set of strategies to cope with on and off the path route finding. It was slightly damp for most of the day as the pictures probably tell!
