Glens Falls to close traffic for USA Luge slider event

GLENS FALLS, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Glens Falls has issued a travel advisory for May 17 as USA Luge completes its slider challenge and is asking drivers to consider alternative routes. From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., a portion of Murray Street will shut down for the event.
The portion of Murray Street between South Street and Willis Street will be closed to all traffic. Only local traffic will be allowed on Mohican Street and the lower Murray Street sections.
Pruyn's Island will be accessible by a detour from Mohican Street through Basin Street and Henry Street. Drivers can expect signs to guide them through the event zone.
