Three Jason Morris students compete at Pan Am judo championships

Ari Berliner of Cumming, Ga. is entered at 66 kilograms, Nate Keeve of San Francisco is at 100 kg and Nicole Stout of Orlando, Fla. is at 78 kg.
All three have spent the past four years training under Morris, a Burnt Hills graduate who won a silver medal at the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona.
Winning the Pan American Championships would put them one step closer to the Summer Olympics in Tokyo in July. The Pan American Championships are an Olympic qualifying event in which results are weighed equally to winning a tour event.
Berliner is making his first Pan American Championships appearance. Keeve, whose father, Damon, is a two-time Olympian, and Stout are competing in their third Pan American Championships.
