Teams Ready – Pan Am Team 2020
After the entries closing date we already know which teams will compete at the Badminton Pan Am Male & Female Cup 2020.
The Badminton Pan Am Male & Female Cup 2020 will be held from February 13 to 16 in Salvador – Bahia, Brazil. Pan American Center of Judo will be witness stage of the best performance of the best players in the region.
Canada, Falkland Islands, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru, United States and host Brazil are tha teams that will compete looking for the cup.
The Male Event will have 6 teams fighting for the gold: Brazil, Canada, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru and United States, while, in the Female Event, the 7 teams will look the crown: Brazil, Canada, Falkland Islands, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru and United States.
Now, the teams have until January 24 to register their best players at the Badminton Pan Am Male & Female Cup 2020 and thus seek glory in this first Pan Am tournament of the year.
This event will award world ranking points as a Continental Team Event and is qualifying for the Thomas and Uber Cup finals, that will be played on May, in Denmark, where the best Male & Female teams compete for the crown.
In last edition, Canada’s teams were the champions in both event (Male & Female). USA’s teams took the second places, also in both events. Team Jamaica won the bronze in Male event and Team Peru did the same in Female event.
