Hosts Uzbekistan claim first gold at Tashkent Judo Worlds
TASHKENT, Oct. 11 (Xinhua) -- Uzbekistan and Croatia took a gold medal each on the fifth day of the 2022 Judo World Championships on Monday.
In the men's -90kg final, Uzbekistan's Davlat Bobonov neutralized Christian Parlati of Italy, getting the first medal for Uzbekistan.
Olympic champion Lasha Bekauri from Georgia and his teammate Luka Maisuradze took bronze medals in the category.
