Bobcats Welcome David Simoes as Power Skating Coach

The Bismarck Bobcats are proud to welcome David Simoes as the Power Skating Coach for the 2025-26 season. Simoes brings an impressive resume and a wealth of knowledge to the Bobcat organization. 

During his playing career, Simoes was a 2006 RBC National Jr A champion with the Burnaby Express. He then went on to have a six year playing career in the Central Hockey League (CHL). 

Following the conclusion of his playing career, Simoes not only is the founder of DS3 Hockey Development, but also was a skating coach for the Bismarck Century Girls Hockey team in the 2024-25 season. This past year he served as the Skating Coach for Bismarck High School’s Hockey Team. 

Simoes moved to Bismarck with his wife and children 4 years ago and is enjoying his time in the Bismarck-Mandan Community.
