2026 Winter Olympic Sports I Watch Outside the Olympics

I'm an Olympics junkie. I've been that way since 1984. I just love it, summer or winter.

It's interesting the number of sports I only watch during the Olympics. Here are the disciplines we'll see at Milano Cortina 2026 and whether yours truly ever watches the sport outside of the Olympic games.

Alpine skiing - no

Biathlon - no

Bobsleigh - no

Cross-country skiing - no

Curling - no

Figure skating - no

Freestyle skiing - no

Ice hockey - yes

Luge - no

Nordic combined - no

Short-track speed skating - no

Skeleton - no

Ski jumping - no

Ski mountaineering - no

Snowboarding - no

Speed skating - no

Outside of the Olympics I'll tune in to watch precisely one of these disciplines, but for the next couple of weeks I'm all in.
