Spruce Kings Acquire Lucas Busch

The Prince George Spruce Kings have acquired forward Lucas Busch (05) from the Surrey Eagles in exchange for future considerations.

Busch is 6’1, 185 pounds from Maple Grove, Minnesota who is in his first season in the BCHL. In 35 games with the Eagles, Busch has nine goals and 11 assists for 20 points. Last season with the Wisconsin Windigo of the NAHL, Busch scored six goals and added 11 assists in just 23 games.

Spruce Kings General Manager Mike Hawes: “Lucas add a power forward type element to our forward group. We’re excited to add him.”

Lucas Busch: I am super pumped to be a member of the Spruce Kings and very excited to be a part of a winning culture and can’t wait to start playing.”

Busch is expected to be in the lineup tomorrow against his former team, as the Spruce Kings welcome the Eagles for a 7:00 pm start.
