Sylvester Adolfsson Signs with Smokies

Trail, British Columbia (January 21, 2026) – The Trail Smoke Eaters would like to announce the signing of Sylvester Adolfsson.

Adolfsson is a 6’0″, 181-pound left shot defenceman from Stockholm, Sweden and was most recently playing with Lovell Academy Blue 18U AAA in the PPHL 18U Division. This season — including the EP Cup Series — Sylvester has posted an impressive 7 goals and 44 assists for 51 points in 45 games.

“We are pleased to add Sylvester to our roster this season. With the recent changes to our defence core, we felt it necessary to add some depth to our back end. He comes with a bona fide pedigree out of the Lovell Academy U18 AAA program and will be a smooth skating asset to the Smoke Eaters lineup,” said Eric Thurston, General Manager & Head Coach.
