Nanaimo Clippers Welcome Back Garin Ludwig
Nanaimo, B.C. – [November 13th] — The Nanaimo Clippers are excited to announce the return of defenceman Garin Ludwig to the team for the 2025-26 BCHL season.
Ludwig, from Eagle River, Alaska, began the 2025-26 season with the Sioux City Musketeers of the USHL before returning to Nanaimo. During the 2024-25 season, he was a key member of the Clippers’ blue line, appearing in 51 games and recording 31 points. Known for his poise, physicality, and leadership, Ludwig quickly became an integral part of the team’s identity both on and off the ice.
Head Coach and General Manager Colin Birkas said Ludwig “carries himself like a pro. He’s very serious about his game and wants to win. We’re excited that he has chosen to play in Nanaimo to finish his junior hockey career and get prepped for college.”
The organization is thrilled to welcome Garin back to Nanaimo and looks forward to his continued impact on and off the ice.
