Bats Are Having A Moment

Remember Travis Dhanraj? You might remember him from CP24, or perhaps Global News, or CBC where he hosted Canada Tonight, until he didn't. That ended badly for Travis, who filed a human rights complaint against CBC, claiming he was forced to resign, alleging he faced discrimination, harassment and bullying as a person of colour.

For the record, I have invited Travis Dhanraj on Toronto Mike'd to talk about all of this, but have never heard back. If Travis is reading this, the invitation to make your Toronto Mike'd debut is still valid.

Travis is starting a podcast called Can't Be Censored. His co-host is Karman Wong, and the promo pic has her wielding a baseball bat. This reminded me of FOTM Brad Bradford, who was recently on the cover of the Toronto Sun holding a baseball bat.

Bats are having a moment. I just revisited the switch from Wonder Boy to the Savoy Special following the death of Robert Redford.
