Nanaimo Clippers Home Opener & VIEx Kick Off Together at Beban Park!

The Nanaimo Clippers are excited to announce that our 2025 Home Opener at Frank Crane Arena coincides with the opening day of the Vancouver Island Exhibition (VIEx), making Beban Park the place to be this weekend.

This special overlap of two beloved community traditions means a bustling, energetic atmosphere for fans, families, and visitors in Nanaimo. Together with the VIEx, the Clippers are offering an exciting cross-promotion deal:

• Show your Clippers ticket at the VIEx and receive $2 off your admission.

• Show your VIEx pass at the Clippers game and receive $2 off your Clippers ticket.

Plan Ahead for Parking and Transportation

With both events drawing big crowds, parking at Beban Park will be limited. Fans are encouraged to arrive early and take advantage of alternative options:

• Mid-Island Co-op Parking Lot (2517 Bowen Rd): Clippers fans are welcome to park here and enjoy a free shuttle to Frank Crane Arena. Going TO FRANK CRANE between 6:00PM & 7:00PM and headed back to 2517 BOWEN RD between 9:15PM – 10:15PM

• Free VIEx Shuttle: Running between Nanaimo North Town Centre & Beban Park from 12:00 PM until approximately 11:30 PM. Clippers fans are welcome to ride the shuttle to the game.
