The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations’ National Hockey Tournament 2025 commenced in Ranchi on Thursday, drawing approximately 800 students. Participants from states including Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu are competing across under-14, under-17, and under-19 age groups. State sports director Shekhar Jamuar inaugurated the event, highlighting the importance of sports in fostering discipline and team spirit.
