At this point, I feel sorry for reputable outlets who want to advertise on Facebook or Instagram. I'm sure they exist, but right now sponsored posts on Facebook are a haven for fraudulent scammers.

Here's a Clarkson Toronto ad for The Oliver Timeless Blazer and Vest Set. Surely you're familiar with Clarkson, a Toronto institution since 2008. Everybody knows about their classic Oliver Timeless Blazer and Vest Set. ClarksonToronto.com has this in their "About Us" section:

It's all bullshit. All of it. Founded in 2008 yet the domain name clarksontoronto.com that you're linked to from the ad wasn't purchased until August 8th, 2025.

If it's a Facebook ad, don't make a purchase until you talk to me.
