Saying Goodbye to The Who in Toronto

0 132

I recently wrote about picking up a single lawn ticket for about twenty bucks to see The Who during their farewell tour. Yesterday I biked to the Freshwater Stage (shout out to Neil Young) and enjoyed a great set by Tom Cochrane. That alone was worth more than the price of admission.

Then, I received a text from an FOTM asking me to meet him by the front row of the 100s. VP and I waltzed over and next thing you know I'm second row centre for The Who.

Roger and Pete are in their early 80s and at times they acted like it, but I felt they put in a heck of a great performance and went out in style. This concert exceeded my expectations.

$20 to see Tom Cochrane and then The Who in fine form mere metres from the stage. And the bike ride home was pretty rad as well.
