Spruce Kings Commit to Michael Denney

The Prince George Spruce Kings are pleased to announce the commitment of 2006 born forward Michael Denney for the 2025-2026 season.

Denney is 5’9, 157 pounds from Keswick, Ontario who spent last season with the Leamington Flyers of the Ontario Junior Hockey League, scoring 15 goals and adding 30 assists in 46 games.  He also put up four goals and eight assists in 10 playoff games.

Prior to his time in Leamington, Denney scored 33 times and added 18 assists in the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League for the Stratford Warriors before adding nine goals and four assists in 13 playoff games.

Spruce Kings General Manager Mike Hawes: “Michael is a great young man and teammate who is a gifted offensive player and plays the game hard. He is another great addition to our forward group.

Michael Denney: “I am excited to get to Prince George and meet my new teammates and I look forward to having a successful season here with the Spruce Kings.”
