Cowichan Capitals Unveil Jumbotron Upgrade for Upcoming Season

DUNCAN, B.C. — The Cowichan Capitals are excited to announce a major enhancement to the fan experience at the Cowichan Community Centre: The installation of a brand-new, state-of-the-art jumbotron for the upcoming season.

Measuring 20 feet wide by 10 feet tall, the new jumbotron will be mounted on the back wall of the arena, replacing the red score clock. The jumbotron will deliver instant replays, interactive videos, fan contests, and in-game activations — all designed to bring fans closer to the action.

This major upgrade reflects the Capitals’ ongoing commitment to building up their game day atmosphere. It also takes the team’s broadcast with Chris Jaycox a step further, enhancing both the in-arena and online viewing experiences.

“The feedback on the broadcasts has been great,” said Jaycox. “The new jumbotron is a huge step up for Cowichan in terms of sports entertainment.” The Capitals continue to focus on delivering a high-quality product on and off the ice and this latest investment marks a bold step forward.
