Bobcat Defenseman Calle Arvedson Signs Pro Contract with Mörrum GoIS
The Bismarck Bobcats are proud to announce that defenseman Calle Arvedson has signed his first pro contract in Sweden with Mörrum GoIS.
Arvedson was a constant in the Bobcat lineup in his only season in the NAHL this year. Calle appeared in 53 regular season games along with 10 playoff games for a total of 63 career NAHL games. In those contests, Arvedson fired home 4 goals and tacked on 14 assists for a total of 18 points. Arvedson scored the 2nd goal in the Robertson Cup Final against the Lone Star Brahmas. Arvedson talked about his excitement to return home to Sweden and get his pro hockey career started.
“It means a lot to me to be able to play pro hockey here on home turf. I am really excited for the upcoming season and to put everything I learned in Bismarck and the U.S. to the test here in the Swedish league,” Arvedson said.
Mörrum GoIS plays in HockeyEttan, Sweden’s 3rd division of pro hockey.
