Game schedule released for Topeka Scarecrows ice hockey team

TOPEKA (KSNT) - Sports officials have released the full game schedule for the newly revived Topeka ice hockey team.

The Federal Prospects Hockey League (FPHL) announced the full 2025-2026 game schedule on June 27, including the list of games the Topeka Scarecrows will be participating in. The Scarecrows are one of three new teams joining the FPHL this year.

The team will play in more than 100 games over the course of 2025 and 2026 in a mix of home and away games, according to the FPHL. Stormont Vail Events Center will host the team for all of its 28 home games which can be found below:

- 7:05 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 17 - Scarecrows vs. Biloxi Breakers.
- 7:05 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18 - Scarecrows vs. Biloxi Breakers.
- 7:05 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31 - Scarecrows vs. Indiana Sentinels.
- 7:05 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1 - Scarecrows vs. Indiana Sentinels.

Several hockey games were held in Topeka in early 2025 that generated a great deal of interest among local fans with one participating team temporarily rebranding as the Scarecrows. Topeka Pro Hockey later revealed the name of the Scarecrows, its return to Topeka and membership in the FPHL in May 2025.
