Lehto Returns Home to Lakehead

The Bismarck Bobcats are proud to announce that forward Josh Lehto has committed to play collegiate hockey and continue his academic career at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ontario.  

Lehto, spent this past season with the Bobcats and was an integral part of the Robertson Cup Championship squad, scoring the eventual game-winning goal in the final game. In the regular season, Lehto scored 12 goals and tacked on 25 assists for a total of 37 points in 57 total games. He also added on 5 goals and 2 assists in 13 playoff games.     

“I’m beyond excited to be committing to Lakehead and taking the next step in my hockey career at the collegiate level. It’s an incredible opportunity to play the game I love while being close to home and representing a program with such a strong community behind it. I can’t wait to get started!” Lehto said.

Lakehead University is a public university in Thunder Bay, Ontario, a part of USports
