Defenseman Eddie Revenig Signs Tender with Bismarck Bobcats
The Bismarck Bobcats are proud to announce that defenseman Eddie Revenig has signed a tender agreement with the Bismarck Bobcats.
Revenig, a native of Edina MN, is a 5 ’11, 183 LBS, ‘05 defenseman. This past season Revenig split his time between the USHL with the Fargo Force, and the BCHL with both the Sherwood Park Crusaders and the Vernon Vipers. In 46 games played, Revenig tallied 2 goals and added on 6 assists for a total of 8 points.
Bobcats General Manager and Director of Scouting, Niko Kapetanovic commented on his excitement for Revenig to join the Bobcats next season. “Eddie is someone who I have watched closely for years. He is an exceptional talent and an outstanding person. We are honored to have Eddie pick Bismarck to continue his development path on his way to BSU. Eddie is a proven winner with great junior hockey experience. Rev will be a massive piece to the puzzle of continuing our winning tradition in Bismarck,” Kapetanovic said.
Revenig, following his junior career, will continue his academic and hockey career at Bemidji State University.
Tender agreements are contracts handing a North American Hockey League team rights to a player for the upcoming season.
