Shai Gilgeous-Alexander MVP

0 16

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been named the NBA’s most valuable player for 2024-25. This makes Gilgeous-Alexander only the second Canadian to be named NBA MVP. The first, of course, was Steve Nash who did it in back-to-back seasons.

The 26-year-old Hamiltonian finished the regular season averaging a career-best and league-leading 32.7 points per game, along with 6.4 assists — also a career high — 5.0 rebounds and 1.7 steals, while shooting 51.7 per cent from the floor, including 37.5 per cent from three on a career-high 6.1 attempts. He also led the NBA in free throws made, knocking them down at a rate just under 90 per cent.

Next up for SGA: NBA Champion.
