Vees announce playoff series with Okotoks Oilers
Penticton, BC – The Penticton Vees open the 2025 Rogers BCHL Playoffs on Thursday, April 3rd, against the Okotoks Oilers in their best-of-seven series round one series.
Penticton clinched the Ron Boileau Memorial Trophy as BCHL regular season champions after posting a 41-8-5-0 record in the regular season. The Vees also captured their 13th consecutive Interior Conference regular season pennant. Penticton is the top seed in the Rogers BCHL Playoffs.
The Vees are looking to win a record 15th BCHL Fred Page Cup championship this spring, in what is their final BCHL playoff run.
The Vees won three of four regular season meetings against the Okotoks Oilers, including their last encounter, 4-0, on March 22nd. Ryden Evers led the Vees against the Oilers, posting seven points (4G, 3A) in four games. Goaltender Will Ingemann posted two wins and one shutout against Okotoks.

Due to arena availability, the series will start on Thursday, April 3rd, before a two day break ahead of Game Two on Sunday, April 6th. There will also be a two-day break between Game Four and Game Five, due to arena availability, if this series would go beyond the minimum four games.
The Chamberlain Property Group is the presenting sponsor of the Vees playoffs, starting with Game One on Thursday night.
The Vees are teaming up with the SOEC and Cannery Brewing to offer a playoff combo pack for every home playoff game. Fans can get a game ticket, a Cannery Vees Lager (473 ml), and small popcorn, for just $30. Tickets are designated for sections 103-105, and 112-115 only. Tickets are available to purchase in person only at the Valley First box office at the SOEC (Must be legal drinking age).
