VERNON VIPERS ANNOUNCE 2024-25 TEAM AWARD WINNERS & SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS

VERNON, B.C. – The Vernon Vipers capped off another season by recognizing the hard work, dedication, and achievements of their players at the annual team awards ceremony. From on-ice excellence to off-ice leadership, this year’s award winners exemplified the commitment and passion that define Vipers hockey.

Scholarship Recipients

Several Vipers players will continue their hockey and academic careers at the collegiate level:

  • Tyson Zimmer – Niagara University

  • Talan Blanck – University of Alaska-Fairbanks

  • Erik Pastro – University of Nebraska-Omaha

  • Michael Munroe – University of Maine

  • Koji Gibson – Northern Michigan University

  • Price Grimes – University of New Hampshire

  • Eddie Revenig – Bemidji State University

  • Charlie Kresl – UMass-Lowell

Recognizing the 20-Year-Olds & Graduating Players

The Vipers also honored the contributions of their graduating players, who leave a lasting legacy both on and off the ice:

  • Ryan Watt – 64 points in 171 BCHL games

  • Tyson Zimmer – 75 goals, 93 assists in 292 games

  • Kyren Gronick – 42 goals, 78 assists in 247 games

  • Daniil Dolzhenko – 209 career games as a steady defenseman

  • Eric Johnston – 264 games played, a leader at every level

  • Jari Kykkanen – 159 games played, 5 career shutouts

The Vernon Vipers organization congratulates all award winners and graduating players for their hard work, dedication, and contributions to the team.
