Bobcats forward, Evan Hunter, is achieving a big milestone in his career this Friday against the Minot Minotauros, as he will be playing in his 150th career North American Hockey League contest. Hunter has played all 150 games with the Bobcats throughout the last three years. “It’s a great organization. I’ve been lucky enough ever since I came here to stay here and be a part of some good teams. It’s been great and I’ve been lucky enough to do it with a lot of the guys this year,” Hunter said.

Hunter has 39 goals to go along with 76 assists for a total of 115 points in 149 career games so far. His 76 assists rank 3rd all-time in franchise history. Last year, Hunter was nearly a point per game player, notching 53 points in 56 games. His 23 points this season rank 6th on the team. Hunter commented on his continued success throughout the last three seasons. “I’ve had great coaches with Layne, Coach Roth, Alec, and Coach Laslo, just been lucky enough to have those guys as my coaches and have good players around me. When you have good coaches and good players, it makes your job a lot easier,” Hunter mentioned.

Hunter is the first Bobcat this season to reach the 150 game mark.
